Agos Bruera

Agos Bruera is a Mexico City-based director known for her emotionally raw, pop-infused filmmaking style, as seen in her work for global brands such as Toyota, Bumble, Nestlé, Gillette, and Cabify. Dynamic camera moves and vibrant colors are hallmarks of her visual aesthetic, especially in the world of commercials, where she likes to tell stories fast with a visual punch.

Originally from Buenos Aires, Agos is a graduate of the Audiovisual Arts program at the National University of Arts. She honed her skills working with renowned commercial directors including fellow Argentinians Juan Cabral and Andy Fogwill.

Prior to directing full-time, Bruera ran Estudio Famas, a women-focused creative studio specializing in design, branding, and content.

Outside of directing, Bruera is a multimedia nomad who finds inspiration in everything from punk-rock drumming and VJ’ing to designing capsule clothing. She also enjoys digital painting and has exhibited in art galleries and museums from South America to Europe.
