Mireia is a Spanish director known for her distinctive, detail-oriented approach to storytelling, with a strong emphasis on humanity.

After earning her film degree from the New York Film Academy, she began her career in fiction filmmaking. Two of her early short films were selected for the prestigious Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, drawing international attention and positioning her as a rising talent in Spanish cinema.
Building on that momentum, she went on to collaborate closely with acclaimed Spanish directors, including José Luis Cuerda, gaining invaluable experience on major film sets. This foundation eventually led her to expand into directing commercials and other formats, where her cinematic sensibility—marked by emotional depth and visual precision—truly flourished.

Known for her visually rich and emotionally resonant style, Mireia’s work is defined by a deep attention to detail and a willingness to take risks. Her carefully constructed characters often tell their stories with the subtlest gestures, gradually building toward climactic moments that resonate with beauty and emotion.
This sensitivity to the visual language of cinema has made her a sought-after director for high-profile commercial campaigns, with clients including Audi, McDonalds, Asics, Coca-Cola, Turkish Airlines, and Vodafone.
Her work has garnered recognition at leading festivals, including El Ojo de Iberoamérica, the Cíclope Awards, and CdeC. Her short doc “Diary of Hunger” was selected for the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA), further cementing her place as a director to watch in both fiction and documentary filmmaking.
Mireia Pujol’s films and commercial work reflect her ongoing exploration of the human experience, with a consistent emphasis on empathy, precision, and beauty.
