Exhilarating moments that never rest.
An accomplished commercial director with a focus on lifestyle and light visual comedy, Romain takes viewers into an exaggerated world filled with exhilarating moments that never rest.
Romain blends highly stylized films with a touch of humor, performance, choreography, and strong art direction. His poetic and uniquely creative sensibilities have led to work for such global brands as Uber, CareCredit, Wells Fargo, Square, Garmin, YouTube, and PayPal, and collaborations with top-tier agencies, such as BBDO, VMLY&R, mcgarrybowen, Team One, and The Many, among others.
As genius never rests, Romain is also an acclaimed author and narrative filmmaker. His young adult book series, “Gary Cook,” which follows the adventures of a group of teenagers trying to escape a doomed Earth in a dystopian world, is currently being adapted into a TV series by a major online streaming platform.
His first sci-fi feature film, The Last Journey, starring Jean Reno (The Professional), centers on the enigmatic Paul WR, the most talented astronaut of his generation, and the only hope for Earth’s salvation as it heads on a collision course with a red moon. With nods to Star Wars and Dune, the independent film garnered rave reviews from the industry, which described Romain as “the leader of the new French sci-fi” following in the steps of acclaimed director Luc Besson.
Romain just released his second feature film, Apaches: Gang of Paris, a historical feature following a Peaky Blinders-style gang in 19th-century Paris, and is currently developing several TV series and feature films projects.
